If you find that when you login and attempt to view your account it probably means that the security settings on your browser are preventing List-Alert from placing the authentication cookie used to authenticate you as a subscriber. To solve this you need to adjust your browser security settings.

If you wish to close your List-Alert account then login to your account. Then click My Account and then select Close My Account.

If you are having problems changing the state or region using List-Alert then try the non-Javascript menu system.

List-Alert has a variety of options that you can use to perform more complex searches on Craigslist. This post explains how to perform searches for phrases, exclusions, or statements and either statements.

If you only want to show auto or furniture listings for items that are sold by a dealer or by an individual or by both then select the appropriate category from the pull down menu.

When a search is made on Craigslist it can return a large number of postings that do not apply to your search. This is probably due to the fact that the junk posts have a large number of popular search terms added to the bottom of the post.

In some cases you may wish to search more than one region for a specific item. The best way to do this with List-Alert is to create multiply alerts.
